Meet Zack (He/Him)

Zack is an Actual Play producer who works across podcasting and YouTube. Zack started in gaming with 13th Age, an incredible take on the d20 fantasy genre of games. He fell so in love with the system that he built the entire first campaign of RPG around that system. Since discovering TTRPGs, Zack has explored the plethora of incredible collaborative games that are out there and found a passion for game mastering. Zack has helmed many of RPG’s series and looks forward to doing even more as the series continues.

What was your first TTRPG? ✏️

My first time playing was in a homebrew of 13th Age set in the world of The Orphans, the first fiction podcast I ever produced, it was lovingly made by friend of the show and frequent guest Ella Watts.

Which Realms series has been your favourite to be a part of? 🎤

I have absolutely adored being in CY_BORG, the first game run on the show by Pip Gladwin. Pip runs a game like no-one else and I love getting to watch him work and tell a story together.

Favourite Dinosaur? 🦖

Gotta be Ankylosaurus, the cutest little fully-armoured babies!

What’s your favourite TTRPG? 📚

13th Age is my ride or die, it feels like home. The background mechanics alone are some of the best out there.

What’s the best dice? 🎲

The D20 is iconic, it’s also got the best shape for rolling, just round enough to get some movement but not so round as to take forever to land!
